First of all no where in my post was the words younger generation used.
The word "Most" was used referring to chain stores and the people
working in chain stores in general. Second of all velcro sneakers and
calculators used for math in schools have been around for 30+ years so
the average person using them should be about 30-35 of which my daughter
is 35 and not what I consider the younger generation. Charles as you
said Davis took my post totally out of context. Onree said it most
eloquently that Charles post was not a way to put the best foot forward
for the so called "Younger Generation". My post plainly said I have had
nothing but bad experiences with chain stores and not just one
particular name over the last 20+ years. That is why I only go to one
for floor mats and door edge molding. I got some nice floor mats from
A&S Strauss for my orange car that fit perfectly last fall and now will
go back for the door edge molding this week. AMC content my TCI 2 quart
deeper tranny oil pan clears the steep hump in my drive way and the
speed bump at the nursing home my mother is at without dragging. I
cooked the grill in the sun for 3-4 hour yesterday and gave it it's
final tightening. Today I will see about getting the thermostat
installed for the auxiliary cooling fan and also install the polished
billet aluminum radiator over flow tank. A nice leisurely drive is also
in order too. It's time to burn up some of that expensive gas.

I read what Doc had to say here and I agree with him. He didn't say ALL of the younger generation just most. YOu are putting words in his mouth and I don't think that is right. re read his post.
