It sounds like a nice original survivor car Brad. An original car with
99% of the original parts in tact. Just right for a resto. After seeing
what my son had to do with my fathers 10,000 mile original 84 wagon I
gave my son 2 years ago them low mileage little old lady cars are not
they all are cracked up to be. Low mileage is worse than abuse in most
cases but as long as it is a low or no rust car it is worth it. Although
I still think the price is a little high. I think a Sportabout would
look exceptional with 77 AMX fender flairs. I don't care for the 78
Concord AMX flairs or the Eagle flairs. They look like an after thought
add an. I just dug out the 77 AMX rear fender flairs out of my parts
closet to start working on them to paint them and put them on my orange
car soon. You would need a custom side decal for your wagon Brad.
Sportabout "AMX-Xotica".

The front air dam was the 1st thing I looked at. Besides a couple of curbing rubs, it looks good. The outside is real nice. Didn't get a real good look at the interior (locked). Saw a couple of cracks on the dash pad and an aftermarket stereo. Driver's seat was normally worn. Black interior. Other than the stereo, everything looked stock. He said an older couple had it and never drove it in the winters. That part is believable due to the lack of rust holes. It has the rear window louvers and the gauge pod and the 6 cylinder tach. If the body would have been shot, I'd use all the AMX parts on my Sportabout!!!

The big question is what condition is the front air dam and for that
price what is the general condition of the car inside and out?

It's in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Did not see any rust on it.
