| Rick, That would be me who said there are inconveniences and there are problems.
I learned this saying from another cancer survivor. As I've shared with the
group, my wife and I are both cancer survivors. In '04, I lost my right eye to a
very rare and very dangerous melanoma. I had no metastasis and I am still here
enjoying life. Yes, they poke and prod the hell out of me every 6 months, but I
guess my life is worth it. I thank God for miracles and that I had the good
fortune to be treated by a world class ocular oncologist. Sounds like you
got yourself a great doctor. Hang in there and pray often. I'll be praying for
you. BTW, Ill be 53 in July. If it is of any comfort, a friend of mine shared
your diagnosis. She, however, was pretty sick when she was diagnosed. Today,
years later, she is doing well and in complete remission. Your odds are
good! Charlie In a message dated 6/21/2006 7:44:27 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,
