| Mickey Gilley had a steak house here for years. In Houston we call them
'steak and stomp' there is one called Pecos Grill a few miles from me. Great way
to spend a evening, it is a big ass place that serves steaks and has a dance
floor. You go eat then dance it off. Since I don't wear cowboy boots, nor like
country western music, nor know how to dance that silly line shit, I would go
simply because of the food. I like to refer to them as 'spin & puke' as the
dance floors are circular, so if you dancing, you are going around in circles.
Not the best recipe when drinking Lone Star, Pearl, or any beer, and always
thuoght it comical to see some big bad ass guy yakking like a baby in the men's
room on a Saturday night. Here bro, have a breath mint. And wipe that tater off
your Wranglers unless it is uh, twice baked! Oh, hang on cowboy, you dropped your giant mint here, let me get if for you
(give them a urinal cake, like Aggies, they would not know difference, and
besides, it is MINTY.  No Gilley's is gone, nightclub long gone then steakhouse long gone: The steakhouse was more of a tourist trap designed to relive it's glory
days of basically what you saw in the Urban Cowboy movie. Pasadena is still
known as Stinkadena here in Houston, as it stinks like shit if you ever get on
that NE side of town, with all the refineries. You have birds drop from the sky
and air horns sound when they have a 'release' from a refinery. On occasion even
though I am across town about 50 miles, you might hear a boom and know it is
Pasadena blowing up again with refinery fire like the recent one that killed
15-16 people. If a hurricane ever hit Pasadena it would cause about $15 billion
dollars..... OF IMPROVEMENTS. Eddie Stakes' Planet Houston AMX 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx *email is currently HEAVY Call if important* www.planethoustonamx.com
