it sounds like vapor lock to me, my dad as well, he says take ur fuel 
line from the tank to the pump, disconnect it from the pump, get an air 
blow gun take ur gas cap off, and blow air through the line, he says 
theres a "sock" for a filter that expands and when it cant stand the 
pressure any more it collapses, which shuts the fuel flow off, just blow 
that sock off and hook up a filter on the line from tank to pump. he 
says that should work
