There are companies out there that specialize in repairing fuel tanks. Pick
up a Hemming's Motor News........heck, Eddie may even have a link on his web
site for one of the companies.
Anyway......since a stock fuel tank would not fit under my 72, I had to
fabricate my own. It's difficult finding a shop to build or repair a fuel tank
and they claim their insurance will not allow it. Once I fabricated and welded
mine, I used a gas tank sealer on the inside. The sealer was made by the same
company that makes POR-15. After that, I carried the tank to Z-Tech and had the
outside coated with the spray on bed liner. I honestly belive the tank will out
live the car.
Good lick with your project.
