Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Donor car...Hornet V-8

I have certainly seen that. There used to be alot here in east Tenn. but they dried up quickly when the steel prices went up.Guess I am gonna have to go to Idaho and hang with Bill so I can find me a couple of decent affordable cars...eddie

The Original (Plain Jane) is a 232, so I take it I will have to find a bell
housing. Bummer on the 3 speed. :(~  That kind of sucks...just more work,
but thats all right I can deal with it. The 4 door does have the 727 auto
and everything from radiator to the rear axle, which is a non posi unit but
its still a V-8. It will be awhile before I can acctually get to work on
this project. Its one of the reason my Gremlin project is on hold. I need a
place where I can work on things. I got the girlfriends place where I can
store stuff, but no shop to tear things down. The fenders are fair to poor
and the dash......sorry to say but its as warped as a dogs hind leg, the sun
does wonders on these plastic parts. I was thinking the same thing as you
was. I am headed down there this weekend and I will get some pics of the car
and what ever else is left over.  I will keep you all posted on the recovery
of this car and what parts will be left over. HE-HE!! I cant wait to go
really fast!! :}  Thanks for the info and comeback!!
