Hi Charlie, good to hear you are battling back. No, they don't have cores,
not even for newer stuff like 1990s. There is a place called 'the bumper boyz'
that might have cores, but I don't think they would have anything for AMC.
Possibly your best bet on this would be contacting the AMC chapters in your
area. I believe there is a AMC meet coming up shortly with Potomac Rambler club,
might be a excellent way to get out and about, enjoy a meet and talk to folks to
see who fellow AMCers would recommend, that way you can take the bumper to a
area place, with possibly 2-3 week turnaround.

Bumper
Eddie,
I really like the idea of triple plate chrome. My only hesitation is
doing without a bumper for weeks while it is out getting chromed. I live in
PA, 10 miles from the highest point in the Pocono Mountains and winter comes
quick. I have been working on this car since my bout with cancer last year and
this is the first opportunity I had to drive it. Being in remission, one never
knows how many summers I have left. Do they have any cores they might be
willing to part with and I could send mine down later? (Lot to ask - I know)
Thanks.
Charlie

Charlin, my suggestion would be to go to my 'links' section and contact
any area or regional AMC or Rambler chapters near you to find out who they
might recommned in their area. If you want it done locally, I have a great
place here in Houston; people send me bumpers from time to time, I just had
a set of 68 Javelin bumpers done for a fellow in Alabama, $350 each,
shipping $30 per bumper. He sent them to me, I take them over, get them
done and send them back out. Triple plate show chrome and warranty too.
