You sure it is the seat belt fabric and not the retractor mechanism that
might need a little cleaning and lubrication? I replaced mine because
the material was frayed really bad and bleached by the sun. I got black
seat  belts out of a 77 AMX that were just slightly bleached from the
sun and I used SEM to re-dye them black.

ok one more thing lol, i need to replace my seat belts in my grem they
are so old that the fabric isnt winding back up right, is there any make 
that interchanges with amc seatbelts by default or somthing that will be 
close, i dont care if i could get it from a slavage car, i can do that 
just need to know what to look for, thanks again guys
