Brad the clips on the door lock rod are plastic on some cars and metal
on others. The pinned arm the rod clips onto on the back of the tumbler
may have come off also.

Just gassed her up. $54 of high test!!  Only had about 2 gal left in the tank (no gas gauge) After filling it up, my gas gauge went up to 3/4. I got it home and when I put it in park, the gauge started dropping and my headlights were flickering.  Bad ground     I also have to take my drivers door apart to fix the lock. Handle works fine but you can't unlock the door with a key. Figure the linkage came apart.

Cheap High price gas. Put some high octane in it and it will be alright.
That is all I run in my Gremlin. With gas as high as it is what is
another 20 cents a gallon. I know mine runs better on it. Back in 74 gas
was gas. Now with all this junk they put in it who knows what it is.
Just my 2 cents worth.
