I finally got the rear newly polished piece of stainless on the car and the Hornet emblem edged with the orange body color instead of black below it and another on the right front fender. I need to do the one for the left front fender. I also replaced the bolt that fell out of my door popper I installed for the hatch to save my fingers and finger nails. What a difference the Hornet emblems make when painted the body color instead of black. I assume black was the standard color so they could be used on any color car. The orange just adds a little bit of nice detail to the car. I also finally got the dark smoke tint to cut the American Motors letters out of for the windshield. I think the windshield letters and tint and the one fender emblem along with the grill is all I will be able to do by June 4'th's Ardsley show. Poor health is slowing me down. The AMX flairs and rear window louver will have to be a summer project. The local cruise night has started near my house so maybe weather permitting monday I will go. The boy's haven't seen the car in 1 1/2 years. Boy will they be surprised as to how it looks now. I will see if I can park it next to the same 69 SS396 Chevelle who's owner was pissed off at me the first week I had the car because it got more attention than his. :-)~~~ Time to start on the left front fender Hornet fender emblem before the wife comes home.
