[BaadAssGremlins] gremlin door woes

Folks, i have a pair of 1970 Gremlin doors that though the doors themselves are in decent shape the latches are froze up.also the inside latches the wire that grops from the door handle to the latch that hist the door striker is missing on  both  doors,is this replacable?and are the mechenism that hits the door striker able to be loostene up with some WD40? I'm contemplating on getting whole new doors
