Tim, I know that it can be done. Terry is right about the 30 year old plastic. If I was a plater I would kind of concerned about it. I dont know the whole process for plating plastic, it may make an old piece even older and more brittle then what it already is. I would ask around first and get some facts. Good luck, if ya do plate it I would like to see it. I think we all would here at B.A.G.  Bill Id.
