I want to add my annoying comment here also quickly. The reason why so many
people do NOT put their location, is not for lack of courtesy, it is simply
because of ID theft is such a huge problem. I'm sure that people ain't going to
try to steal a Tennessee AMCer's ID who is parting out a old car......however;
ya'll just watched what happened on ebay recently with the scams and scammers
stealing people's user ID and passwords en masse, and of course on a more local
note, on my own SC/360 Registry there is a file with 'theft SC/360 Registry'
warning people. So it is a big problem and many people simply feel uncomfortable
about giving out too much information....ironically....in the information
age.
