I did some travelin' around today, and after
about
the 6th store, I hit the jackpot, I found Toys R Us
had FINALLY
restocked their JL pegs (somewhat),
luckily with Classic Gold, and I got
two Gremlins. One
thing I noticed , though, right off - both have
WHITE
interiors. I saw an Ebay sale last week, that was
claiming a
Gremlin was a white lightning, and it was
over $20 already, it had a white
interior. But, I
thought the WL's have a white bottom on the
chassis,
not the silver grey? I'm confused, now. They didn't
mention
whether that one had a white painted metal
bottom, and mine don't have
white bottoms, either, but
just the interiors. The other 3 I have, have
red
interiors in them.
So, I've either got two variations, or two
Gremlin
White Lightnings. :D Either way, I'm happy. Now gotta
wait
to see what Wal-mart and Motor Max have for
Gremlins next month. I did find
some Motor Max 1/24ths
at Food Lion grocery store this past weekend, but
it
was a totally different series, not the Fresh Cherries
that has the
Gremlin - but maybe there's hope to see
them there? Who knows. I'll be
watchin'....
