This thing is a mish-mash of put together parts. The padded headlight and wiper switches are from a later AMC. Radio knobs look correct. Bright material surrounding speedometer and glovebox lid look like some kind of contact paper. The ones on Gremlin X were not that shiny. Gremlin did not offer bucket seats (or Levi style) in 1970, only a bench seat. Deluxe interiors were pleated high-backs, with bench bottom. Wheels and covers are later 14"--1970 Gremies were 13". Transmission selector is correct Shift-Command. 1972 and later were Torque-Command. Gremlin character on front fender and script on sail panel is correct, as is the brighter silver grille surround. License plate expired Nov-1997. Might mean an open title signed off a long time ago--not recently titled or licensed. Stripes look kind of sloppy. I wonder how cheap and dirty the paint job is. None of the pics show door jambs or under hood.

what I would do if a real nice Gremlin would start showing up. Hope I don't
have to find out. I like being one of a kind too much.

Looks pretty cool but I'd be carefull. Who knows what they painted over just for the movie. Interior looks good but check out the radio surround and the glove box door. Could be a pig in a poke
