Doc,

I normally get really good service at a couple of the
local Autozones because my friend's a mechanic and a
regular customer there, and my husband used to be an
employee.  Heck, even a student of mine works there.
So they usually hook me up ok.  But when I ordered
these things, twice the Autozone warehouse send the
wrong parts (2 hatch lifters, not matching each other,
and neither matching the part number I ordered).  I
swear they sent me one I'd already sent back. 
*rolling eyes*

At Advanced Auto I got the usual ignorant,
condescending treatment that redneck goobers give
women who work on their own cars.  I won't be going
back there.

I guess springpatch must have an independent autoparts
dealer -- I'll have to dig and find out.  Thanks for
reminding me about Eddie's site.  I'm smacking myself
in the head for not thinking of that myself!!!  :)

Check Eddie's list of AMC venders. Me I got
replacement ones for my 74
Hornet 6 years ago from my local NON-Chain auto parts
store. I hate
chain parts stores if it is not in the computer the
idiot's can't read
