Oh hell, I know Phil, but I don't believe he ever puts it on the track. That thing would probably run low 13s. Again, it is modified. I looked around a little last night and found some Pacers in the 10s. Sure, some of them have 455 engines, but what the hell, you still see a fishboal hauling some serious ass down the track. I don't remember the original question, but though it revolved around a 'stock' Pacer running 13s. If a regular production Pacer for model years 1975-80/81, no, could not do it. However, beef those 258-s up, and 304s and yes, easily done. The 258 and 304 came with a light duty 904/998 Torque Flite trans and those are awesome low end transmissions, and the speed equipment for them are 1/2 the price of big brother 727s. I'm sure some people never took their drag car to the track ever again aster having their asshole handed to them by this: http://amcpacer.com/images/archives/kenosha-10-drag-rear.jpg Eddie Stakes' Planet Houston AMX 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com email volume is currently HEAVY; 7-12 day reply time; please call if important ----- Original Message ----- From: <twa1950@xxxxxxx> To: <BaadAssGremlins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2005 8:14 AM Subject: Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Question about the pacer? > Remember Eddie, Phil is the one with the Caddy engine in his Pacer. > Terry > > > > > Yahoo!
