John, your best bet on this would be possibly to go to that county and look 
in their library, as many of them have microfiche of articles and newspapers 
daily in thier archives. I had to do a number of book reprts years ago and 
extensively went to the Lantana library down in Corpus Christi, TX, which 
had a collection of every daily newspaper the CC Caller Times made going 
back into the '20s.
