Are you referring to the flywheel when you refer to a flexplate?  Could you elaborate more on the kit? 
What kind of horsepower are you referring to for a mild application?

That is the kit I have. As for going radical.... as long as you use good ARP hardware you are fine. And you definitly need to have the 360 flexplate balanced....unless you are feeling lucky LOL

You mean flexplate and you could use the 360 one tho their may be a lil vibration as i had a 727 behind my 343 i had and the kit i got from American Performance constisted of a special hub and the bolts for the flexplate and crank end and this half mood shaped bar that acted as a spacer for the trans to the block.if Davis has the same kit i have its really only good for stock and mild applications as i wouldn't trust it with something radical.
