Speaking of electric fans, I use Hyundai twin fans on just about all my AMCs. I do leave the original metal flex fan in place, but the small electric fans, used with a small toggle switch, are excellent, especially when trapped in Houston traffic. You can get these smaller fans at pick and pull yards for about $4-$6 each, and as mentioned below, the fast clips to install, a few wires and good to go. My Rebel used to get about 230 degrees stuck in traffic, sometimes overheat and die. Have not had that problem since I put fans on that three core radiator, which cools the powereful 401 I also use a transmission cooler, just don't trust the original ones.
