[BaadAssGremlins] Temporary Stop Gap Seat Upholstery Solution

As much as I hate to do this but until I can get the seats upholstered
properly there is only one solution so the interior looks decent after I
install all my nice new and restored pieces. I will have to go to one of
the chain stores or look up in a JC Whitney catalog and get a set of the
those cheap pull over and tie on seat covers. UGH!!! But then the rest
of the beautiful interior might just make the seats look passable for
now. At least the interior will not be that horrible puke tan with the
70's style plaid leisure suit material seat inserts. Sorry John I know
your 73 Hatchback has the same interior but it ain't for me. Mine will
be black on black. John I have the mint back seat that matches your
Hatchback in the garage. It's yours, just come pick it up. I'd hate to
trash it but I don't have a use for it and it is taking up space in my
over flowing garage since I bought that truck load of parts from Davis a
while back. I got the patch welded in yesterday and the rest of the
floor cleaned up and painted. Today it gets the patch and the factory
body seams caulked. The Dynamat goes in tomorrow and them I start on the
carpet installation. I wonder what fitting problems I will have with the
last 2 carpet pieces to make them fit properly? The previous 4 pieces of
this so called factory replacement kit all needed quite a bit of work to
make them fit properly. I am down to the last 2 floor pieces which are
supposed to be molded for proper fit. Yea like I believe that. The
weather is still supposed to be bearable for the next 3 day's so I will
do as much as possible.
