Check the AMC "U" bolts and shock plates on the Ford rear you might be surprised and they will fit. If not you could probably us Ford "U" bolts and just re-drill the AMC shock plates to fit. I had to modify the 79 Concord insulator shock plates to fit in my non-insulator 74 Hornet springs when I put the Concord rear in it. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! their Gremlin, what U bolt shock plates did you use? I am using the
leaf springs and going with the original shock set up in front of the
axle housing. I need to know what vehicle these plates came from that
will work with this AMC set up. Thanks in advance. ~Lu~
