We used to have a safety inspection but they did away with it a long time ago. My insurance company required me to have the historic plates but I really did it to get out of the emmissions testing but they did away with it too. While you are suppose to be restriced I know of no one that has ever been busted for it. I do know if you have the historic plates they let just about everything go as for as no muffers. slicks on the road, ect.
