Lu, I was wondering about how to get chrome edging! I have some around (from various car projects) but didn't know I could just _buy_ rubber chrome from 3M. Awesome! Yeah, I'd like to edge out what I've got. Thanks for the suggestion! Hmm... so I'm going to paint the background stuff with flat black paint, straighten the oh, so crooked lights, and probably add a bling-bling rubber chrome edging. Now I just have to decide if I want a gremlin man emblem or a gremlin script emblem. Thanks for all the feedback! pax >>>>>Message: 2 Date: Sun, 19 Jun 2005 01:28:16 -0000 From: "lumina333" <lumina333@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Need Creative Suggestions Hey Pax - nice work on the black grille! I like it black. Painting all the stuff black that shows through the grill is a great idea, but why not add a small chrome frame around the edges? This will box in the grill and make it look more like the head light design. I think you can buy that 3M rubber chrome trim stuff and mold it around the outside of grille by bending it. It has sticky glue on the back that you peel off and stick it on. You could get a roll of it and place it around the grill before sticking it on to get an idea of the look. If it stinks, then don't use it and return it for a refund *Grin*. I put one of those 3M chrome grill kits on my PT cruiser and I like the effect. Just an idea. Good luck! ~Lu~ "I love deadlines.
