Thanks Davis for the advise..Also, can you tell me if a V8 engine harness will plug into the connector that came with the car. It has the 232 in it now..Will I have to change out the dash harness? The last thing I need is electrical problems..This is my first 6cyl to V8 swap..Larry

Gremlin v-8 3 core radiators are on ebay brand new for 158 bucks all the time.

I wouldn't use the dinky 6 cyl radiator. But then I don't run stock v-8's

I've rebuilt the top end of my 232 six and am
installing pretty much all new accessories including
an NOS AC compressor I won on eBay.  Once the car is
repainted, I'll be reinstalling everything including
replacing the outside AC coils as well as the radiator
as both are pretty much shot.  I'd like to get a heavy
duty radiator to handle the Texas summer heat so was
thinking of doing a V8 radiator.  Are the hose fitting
locations for a V8 cylinder radiator the same as for
the six?  Also, I picked up a 160 degree thermostat
but am wondering if that might be just a bit too
cool....?

Any suggestions on radiator size?
