I always keep some extra cyl's for a Prevall sprayer around. They are like having an instant custom tailored spray can of what ever you want to spray. I just didn't realize that I had been using them that long. I feel real old now. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Give the gift of life to a sick child. Yea, those little Prevall spray kits sure come in handy. And you know, I've been using them for about 35 years too. 'The Mix'

Subject: [BaadAssGremlins] Project Progress
I see almost everyone is making some progress with their projects. The weather is not bad here in N.Y. just about 10-12 degree's colder than normal. I have been working on my interior project both days so far this week. I got 4 days in on it last week and 5 days in on it the 2 previous weeks although it doesn't really look like I did much it is starting to shape up. Putting 3-4 hours a day on it is wearing me out. I painted the drivers side quarter window frame orange to match the car yesterday and plan on installing it today. I have the pass side ready to paint today. I used Sherman Williams acrylic enamel for the first time and am pleased with the way the paint flowed on and how fast it set up. In the past I used Dupont Centari acrylic enamel and would have used it again but AMC colors are no longer available so that's the reason for the brand switch. The frames were large enough area wise that it wasent possible to use my air brush and to small area wise to bother with my spray gun. It would have taken to much time to clean the spray gun properly. The result was I used a Prevall sprayer. For those of you that don't know it is a glass jar that you put your mixed paint in and screw on a small aerosol propellant cyl on it and use it like a spray can. It worked great. I just realized that I have been using them for almost 35 years. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo!
