Yup, we make the poison(s) here including that MTBE stuff, all blends, that is why gas is so expensive you have basically 'designer gas' blends for all over the US, what we burn in Houston is not same in San Antonio, which is different from Dallas which is different from New Orleans and Baton Rouge for instance. Last time gas got this high American Motors had to quickly bring out locking gas caps for Hornet and Gremlin models, due to all the complaints of people getting gas siphoned out of their AMCs. Not sure how many of ya'll remember that!
