| Hey everyone, here in a question for you that have
headers or have used them. I have them on my SC/360 and they suck. I don't think
I have ever found a decent set of headers that don't burn up starters and seal
properly at the heads; have tried them all since the 70s; Hedman, Cyclone,
Blackjack, Hooker, you name it, ok, have not tried Headers by Ed but those were
$1200 a set, but are supposed to be the best ones ever made. Also have not tried
any of the new shorty headers. So any comments and suggestions, feel free to
fire away, and please be sure to copy your reply to Randy & Linda below also
and thanks in advance to all who might reply. Eddie Stakes' Planet Houston AMX 713.464.8825 eddiestakes@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.planethoustonamx.com volume of email is currently EXTREMELY HEAVY 8-22 day replies, call if important ----- Original Message -----
Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2005 6:21 AM Subject: headers to fit 73 hornet Hello Eddie I have a 1973 hornet hatchback, just built a 401
motor. I want to put the hooker super competition headers onit. Part number
HOK-7103HKR, these are 1 7/8 inch tube diameter. they are a full length header
30 inch. I need to know if these will fit my into my car. without any
modification. I currently have 1 5/8 inch headmens. The HOK -7103HKR are for the

frame on the hornet is the same size or demensions as the amx and javelin
I need to know if they will fit before i make a purchase. Hooker does make a 1
