If anyone is interested there is a complete blue
dash in that 79 Concord 304V8 foru door at pick a part right now, someone can
grab that mint dash for $14. Everything is cheap, car still has back lights,
unique to 78-79 only, also chrome back armrests, unique to 78-79 only, all
sheetmetal, the V8 crossmember ($29), radiator, AC system, rare tilt column
($19) all glass, (about $9 each except windsheild $29) so lots of parts, it is
going to be crushed in about 3 weeks or less. It is at the PYP at Wallisville
road, just north of Budweiser Brewery so you can knock out two things with one
stone.
Also remember that the Skid-O-Can place is backed
up to the back wall/south of the PYP, and on a nice day (it will be 76 degrees
here today, been nice all week) the smell is overwhelming of millions of gallons
of piss and poop and that lemony fresh stuff the company puts in those skid-o's
to make them smell, uh, lemony fresh but is more overwhelming than the stench
itself. So keep in mind on a warm day it is easy to be downwind of this place
and don't be surprised to see someone hurl their tacos they bought off the
ptomaine taco truck earlier, as it is really GROSS. I pull my shirt up over my
nose while pulling parts, dpending on which way the wind is blowing.
So the $20 dash is starting to sound good when you
