can you help me with this question? Will a 360 clutch flywheel work on my 401 if the crankshaft hole is the correct diameter?
I know the 401 is externally balanced but is it just in the dampner?

Tom,

 The 360 flywheel will bolt up, but it too is part of the balance of the engine. You will have to take it to a machine shop and have it match balanced to your current 401 flywheel.

 Or you could just order a new one as they are still available for a 401.
