Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Gauges and Mounting

Gary having the complete replacement dash sitting in front of me in the
living room I don't think you can find a small enough set of gauges to
sit behind the A/C vent duct. I have the Master Auto Meter gauge catalog
in front of me. They make some 1 1/2" fuel pressure gauges but that's
it. Maybe some other mfg. makes smaller ones. The 2 1/16 ones would have
to have a mounting face sticking outward of the A/C duct to clear the
back of the gauges. Clearance is a little small in this area and it
would probably have to overhang the heater control panel a bit too. This
is why I went for the stock pod with aftermarket gauges as I wanted to
keep the dash looking stock instead of making a big custom center gauge
panel like the yellow car has since this is supposed to be a
non-attention getting driver.
