[BaadAssGremlins] One More Time

I almost have the adapters finished to mount the billet knobs to the AMC
window roller handles. I had to pick up some washers and sandpaper for
this little project yesterday at the local hardware store. I took one of
the handles with me as I wanted to check the washers fit and to also
roll down the window on the car. It was a heat wave at almost 40
degrees. To my surprise the billet knobs are easier for me to grab and
roll the window down than the stock ones. That's a plus with my
arthiritic hands. Also while looking for the proper size washers I come
across a a box marked speed nuts to my surprise when I open it there is
an assortment of different sizes and one size was just what I needed as
I was missing one on on of the rear upholstery panels I still have to
make. This may not seem like a big thing but for those of you that have
experienced lacking that one little piece to finish somthing will
understand my delight at finding that one little clip. I bought 4 of
them for good luck. Today I am going to machine the proper taper on the
knobs themselves and polish them out. Tomorrow it is back to installing
the buttons on the drivers door panel.
