Just like all good AMC Gremlin owners, I do perform system 
inspections and maintenance. Not only on the engine, but the chassis 
and body parts also. I like to make sure that there is no unwanted 
rust build up, dings, rock chips, or dents when I get ready to show 
my vehicle. Thankfully, this time, when an inspection was required in 
order to enter the car show with the other guys (AND GALS), my sharp 
eye for detail proved that all my hard work was rewarded when all was 
deemed perfectly normal.
As far as the competition is concerned, the judges didn't even notice 
that I spelled "Gucci" incorrectly, as mine was, in fact, a knock-off 
aftermarket part (a "Gucchi") as I cannot afford an original NOS one. 
Most of my money must go for car parts such as a torque convertor, 
exhaust system, starter, and yes, even a battery. No time for the 
name brand stuff when there are more important issues at hand. -Lu-
