Black sounds good to me. I thoughtabout going with the X stripe on mine when I got it painted but I saw a picture of a 78 with what they called a Rally stripe on it. I think I might go with it instead. With my luck the first guy that waked up to it would tell me it really wasn't a Gremlin X. i doubt that would ever happen though. Iuse that 68-69 Window sticker I got off of Eddie's site and everyone looksat the price and nobody has said a thing about it being the wrong year. All I get is wow this guy has his sticker tape on his window all the rest have theirs in a plastic folder. Back to the subject you might look around thenet and see if you can fine a picture of a Gremlin X the year of yours with the same color paint. Black sounds like the right color to me.
