Doc wrote: Thanks Eddie & Hal. I fowarded the info from both of you to her. The poor woman was so frustrated with her problems with the car. She knows nothing about cars and said in her next life she is going to marry a car guy as her husband is not one. She was also frustrated with the lack of help from the AMX Files. I know pacers are not a big topic there but there are some Pacer owners there. Also there is a Pacer club in here town that ignored her and a Pacer list that ignored her too. I don't car what kid of AMC or Rambler you drive if I can help I will. The reason I contacted her was I read her post on the AMX files about her frustration about no one trying to help her. So I tried. Pacers are not as popular a car as other AMC's but are unique and she is the original owner. To bad the Pacer group didn't see it in their heart to help this woman. This is just the reason I am glad I found this group, because the peope here are like family and friends. And have helped me a lot with parts and advice. Thanks everyone. "Doc" Actually there is not a whole lot of help there for quite sometime, lots of bickering, name calling, and well, there is a cheerleader or two, but not what it used to be on the old amxfiles years ago when one request might generate a slew of replies, not 'do it this way asshole' or 'you are a idiot' or 'I ate a viagra last night' replies. Hopefully between some of the folks here someone can hook her up. Something else she might do is click on my "links" section of the website as I have a number of aMC chapters listed there, and she could contact some of the closer ones to see who they might recommend on possibly checking our her Pacer, in her area. For instance, if someone had a problem like this in Houston, I would refer them to Metro Auto Electric on Harwin, these guys are miracle workers whether you have a 2005 Tahoe or a 36 Cord. Good luck, Eddie Stakes
