Re: Sportabout Wagon

I spotted a white hornet sportabout wagon a couple of weeks ago and
will eventually go back to that area and try to find out about it.
Also, a man in my area of town drove a tan sportabout wagon until
December of last year when it then vanished. Now he drives an old
gray Ford Grenada...wonder what he did with it?

Speaking of parts Doc, any idea when you might be mailing the clock
and horn button to me? Mind you, I am in no rush. -Lu-

figure i'd junk my old Malibu that is rusting out around me if this
turns out to be a decent car and the price is right. I was backing
out of my friends shop last week when the orange car was being worked
on and was hailed down by a guy from the used car lot down the block.
He asked if I was a collector of Horent's as he might be getting one
in. He only knew it was a 73 Hornet and that was all. I found out
yesterday it was a wagon but he is haveing a problem getting the
title. I told the wife if he got the title and it was a decent car
and the price was right I was buying it, she said whatever and walked
away. Wish me luck on this one. Maybe the body won't be as clean as
my orange car but maybe the mechanic's would be better so it would be
a good driver. This wagon would be my winter car/parts chaser.
