Ya I guess sometimes I am just lucky. Like the time I got a 68 390 shortblock. It has 5000 miles on a fresh rebuild and I got it for 50 bucks!! It is bagged and tucked in a corner till I decide what to do with it. Would like to put it in the grem but I would have to take the crank out and have it machined to fit the 727. Also would have to have it rebalanced with the 727 flexplate.
