Davis, If you guys think you can hit the 9's, do it on the last run of the nite. The freind I have that rebuilt my 360 used to do that with his '79 Monza small block. His goal was to drive to the track (45 miles one way) run 9's, be street legal (no wheel tubs or roll cage [I think he was stupid for not installing a roll cage]) and drive home. He would 'dial in' at 11.01 all nite and then 'break out' on the last run. Usually about 1 in the morning the tech area had already shut down so he 'got away' with it. He accomplished everything but the 9's I think he ran a best of 10.13 @ 148mph. I think that was pretty good for a 'real' street car. 'The Mix'
