A performer will clear your hood and be perfect for what you wanna do,i've heard problems about the new air gap seems they don't fit that well and you have to modify them so stick with the performer.

Does anyone have a preference for intake manifolds for the AMC V8? I 
am considering an Edelbrock Performer (non EGR), but am wondering 
about the RPM air gap....this one may have some hood clearance 
issues...opinions?
