repairing the rear wheel well

My 74's only bad rust spot on the body is on the right rear well well 
area. The inner fender area is rusted but the outer part on the body 
is intact but loosing its battle.

Are there any other amc's out there that had this same curvature 
(Spelling) like the gremlin? I can find some hornets and concords in 
the yard that sort of look like I could cut a pannel out and replace 
it. But all the gremlins are rusted out in that area.

How did some of you replace yours that were rotted out?
