401s from mild to WILD in Gremlins they were out of Mesa AZ jeezus davis

Sounds like 'Crank Yankin' to me Bart - 

Randall began with 304 cars from the Factory -
thus the VIN was already Issued as a 304 car -
not a "Z" car .

Granted the AMC ceos' were an 'Eclectic' bunch
being Packard refugees - but not so lunched that
they would Issue a "Z" VIN while stuffing a 304
under the hood .

The amounts of modifications necessary to support
a 401 in a Gremlin shell and make it live were not
on the Adgenda .

Davis can post the entire VIN here -

If I am wrong - I will apologize .

If I am right - Davis buys the first round at a
currently undisclosed AMC meet .
