Jerry, 1966 was the first year for emissions crap in CA. I have a '66 Ford Fairlane 500 2dr hardtop with a 315 hp 390 (all factory correct) and it had an air pump on it when I bought it in 1981. Oh yea, it now sits on jack stands in the drive so 'The Mix' has a nice dry parking spot in the garage. Gary in Cleveland
