If you are useing it as a truck you want low end torque for towing or hauling. A big improvement can be had on a stock engine by just inproveing the carb, intake, ignition and exhaust. I am not a big fan of electronic ignition, maybe because I am of the gray beard generation. But I have used Acell super coils in all my cars and in my book for 30$ or so you can't get a better performance boost on a stock points ignition than useing one of these. I am going to add one to the new Hornet shortly. Right now winter and that Holiday problem Funds-a-Low has got me. I still need 2 more new tires first. "Doc"
