For those of you who would like to learn more about
the 71 SC/360, I run the SC/360 Registry at www.planethoustonamx.com simply click
on that button there, have documented almost 50 cars out of as Bart said 784
produced. These are some of AMC's rarest musclecars. My own r/w/b SC/360 can
turn low 13s all day of the week dead stock. There are four known to exist in
Texas. My own estimate is that less than 150 of them remain. The flair kit seen
on my SC/360 on my website is off a 77 AMX. It is the same flair kit I just
installed on my built 74 Gremlin, which hopefully will be in the paint shop
soon. It is Catholic Schoolroom Green for those of you who went there! Really
the car is originally J7 Jade Green (this is NOT a regular production 1974 color
but 74 production ran into November 74; should have been cut off July 30 74, but
the gov allowed AMC to continue production into Nov 74 for 74 models, that was
the higest total production in AMCs history; see production on my website) the
74 I have was built June 74 delivered Sept 74 and as mentioned above, is a 1975
color. Not sure if I will go back with this color or not, to see what the color
looks like simply click on paint chip charts on my website; those are under
'parts' file. Not a color for everyone, Jade Green gives me the squirts and
ruins my appetite for all you can eat ribs. Might go Big Bad Green on it, and
think it will look sharp with those 77 AMX flairs and front air dam on it! Stay
tuned.
