| Hey Gremlin Hunters, Check out my pics of my car I posted in the photos.
Heres the story on my Gremlin. I found her sitting in a junkyard and I remember
when I was little seeing one of the 360 Gremlins; I think it had an S/C on the
side.     Ive always loved old cars and
have been a Pontiac Addict for years and wanted something more unique. I bugged
the guy a year to sell me the Gremlin and he told me to come back in the spring;
so I did and now shes mine. She was originally a 6 cyl column shift car
according to the VIN. When I opened the hood I found it had a 304 with an
edelbrock R4B intake, holley carb, headers and that the engine had been
rebuilt but never fired. (not too sure on that one) It also has a 3spd on the
floor, traction bars, and I think someone added the Gremlin X
nameplate. The thing that caught my eye was the 304
striping...was that factory or did someone add it?? The worst part of the car is the front floorpans
and rockerpanels. A condition of the sale was I had to surrender the drivers
door and fender...I was like ok because I wanted the car. It has all drum brakes
too. If anyone in the Tri-state area( Im in NY) or
anywhere actually may have the parts I need or know where I can get them, please
let me know. Where are the engine/ head ID numbers located? What
heads are considered good heads? I plan on restifying the car, theres a redVega in
the area I'd love to spank with AMC Gremlin Power. Im VERY new to the AMC hobby so any info that would
be useful in schoolin' me Im all ears. Thanks to Bart and everyone for the help and
support. Gremlin Josh
