[BaadAssGremlins] 17" Wheels-Shaved Door Handles-Chip Foose & Boyd Coddington

I am am an old fashion type person not only in the style of cars I like
but in my everyday life. My friends say I am lost in the 50's. I like
simple. My oldest son said that he didn't believe that I was on line and
even have a cell phone. He say's now I am in he 21 century. I only have
a basic WEB TV, no computer, which works for me. The cell phone I only
got to handle my mothers business and in case of emergences because of
my poor health and for road side emergencies. 17" wheels are nice but
not my cup of tea. Being a model car builder I had to try a set of
custom scale 20" wheels and rubber band style tires on a 74 Javelin
model. It turned out nice, but not really for me. You can't say I was
not willing to try somthing new. When I ordered the door popper for the
orange cars trunk from AutoLoc the sales person tried to sell me a
remote door opening system. I passed as I think the flush mounted door
handles AMC used are as modern looking today as they were when they came
out in 1968. I only wish the lock on the Hornet was in the handle like
the Javelin. That would clean the door up a little. Speaking of Chip
Foose & Boyd Coddington I see the head of the body shop (Charlie) at
Boyd's has defected to Chip Foose. I guess he finally had enough of that
dork Coddington and his everything is a dead line. Boyd makes
unreasonable promises for completion dates and expects everyone to work
24/7 to make him look good.
