Thanks..  Am looking for options regarding the car at present.  
Utmost, getting it roadworthy is first objective..  With much regret 
I say that this yard crushed over 30 AMC's this past spring..  I 
thought I had better save this one while it was still there..  A 
year ago, I would have harvested what I could to make a V8 car.  Now 
I will have to look some more to gather parts needed.  Yard does 
still have a handfull of cars that I can harvest from.  One matador 
with a good 360 and tranny is prime for a donor motor (disc brakes 
also, etc)..  No V8 crossmembers to work on Gremmie format are still 
available.  Thoughts right now are to find a good tranny and get the 
258 running, other mods will follow..  Hope to pick up pointers and 
learn about specifics of car from other members..
