I beg to differ Bart as I was going to buy a new 73 and was in the show room and saw both the standard bumper which this car has and one with the 5 mph bumper option. The 5 mph bumper was basically the same but pushed out with the pistons and had a filler. Other than the car in the show room and now this one all the other 73's I have seen had the 5 mph one. I have looked for a 73 bumper for years to put on my yellow 74 but have never came across one since this was a one of year. After 30+ years I have gotten used to the 74 bumper. Subject: Re: [BaadAssGremlins] 1973 360 Hornet pics
Doc the 73's in the back had the exact same hidious plastic filler piece as the 73 Gremlin i was saying the owner of that Hornet made his rear bumper flush with the body like the 70-72 Hornet and Gremlin thus getting rid of that ugly'gap'thats associated with any 73 Gremlin and Hornet becuase of those damn shock absorbing bumper brackets i had to drill where the old bolt holes on my 73 and use 1970 Gremlin bumper brackets and bumper as the bolt locations on 73s are towards the middle.
