Checked al that Doc. I am pretty sure it is in the wiring form bat to starter. Thanks for the ideas though, I'll let you kow as I will replace one item at a time.

Also there might be some slack in the trans linkage so the neutral
safety switch is not engaging. I have to wiggle mine in park every once
in a while. Also try to start it in neutral. I had a problem with my
Malibu a while back. It turned out to be the ignition switch. I wasent
going to waste the price of a new switch on that car so I just addled a
button on the dash to start it.

Doc, The starter spins like it is supposed to so must be the wiring.
I will replace the solenoid also.
